Powerflushing
Over a period of time, magnetite/ black iron oxide, better known as sludge, can block pipes and prevent the radiators from distributing heat around your house. Sludge also settles in radiators, causing cold spots which can also seriously affect the efficiency of your central heating system. It will also lead to higher fuel bills and can bring on boiler failure. A power flush will usually cure all of the above problems. After powerflushing, we add a corrosion inhibitor to the system ,this guards against any future problems. It can also be a good idea to fit a magnetic filter, like the one opposite.
